About the internship
An internship at TGS Logistics isn’t a research project in a back office. From your first weeks you’ll be working on live shipments alongside our forwarders, quoting, booking, tracking, and talking to customers and carriers. International logistics is a business you learn by doing, and we’ll give you the room to do it.
You’ll sit in the middle of the team in Rotterdam, and you’ll see the whole picture: how a rate is actually built, how a container gets cleared, and how a delay gets solved before the customer notices there was one.
What you’ll learn to do
- Prepare quotations for sea, air and road freight, and follow them up
- Book and track shipments and keep the documentation in order
- Support customs declarations for the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany
- Work directly with customers, carriers and overseas agents
- Take on your own project, aligned with your school assignment and with something we genuinely need
What we’re looking for
- HBO or MBO student in logistics, supply chain, international business or commercial economics
- Good command of Dutch and English
- Curious, proactive, and not afraid to pick up the phone
- Available from 3 months, part-time or full-time

- EUR 500 per month internship allowance, plus travel costs
- Proper guidance from an experienced forwarder and regular feedback moments
